DiSC Personality Training

Employees can’t grow into A+ team members unless they know themselves first. It’s a fact that when individuals have a firm grasp of personality styles- both their own and those around them- they can go far.

Everything-DiSC-Authorized-PartnerDiSC Personality Training gives employees just that: an understanding of personality styles that’s useful and easily transferable to the work environment. By first understanding their own behavior as it’s explained by the four DiSC™ personality styles, team members have taken the first step towards realizing their own potential within a group.

What is DiSC™ Training?

We are proud to be an authorized partner of the official DiSC™ learning system. This often-imitated personality assessment and training model is centered around the principles that understanding personality types can lead to positive change for both individuals and teams.

Under the DiSC™ model, there are four distinct personality styles:

  • Dominant
  • Influencing
  • Steady
  • Compliant

People almost always have a blend of the four styles. By taking the DiSC™ Assessment, then learning how these styles affect their own behavior, colleagues can start to build the bridge towards understanding others’ personality styles, too.

DiSC™ Assessment Provides No Measure of Aptitude- It’s Simply a Description

Notice the DiSC™ model is described as an assessment. In contrast to a test, an assessment has no right or wrong answers. It’s simply a tool for understanding behavior. It’s not better to be (D) or (I)…everyone is different and each has his or her own unique set of strengths and weaknesses.

Understanding Yourself is the First Step Towards Improved Communication

After participants takes the DiSC™ assessment, they learn how personality styles affect behavior. The next step is to recognize how some styles clash, while others blend together in working harmony every single time.

This is precisely the reason why it’s easier to work with some people and more challenging to work with others. It’s simply a matter of personality styles failing to understand each other.

The final step is to learn how to adjust behavior according to the DiSC™ personality styles of colleagues. Armed with valuable insights into how these styles affect behavior and what different types come to expect from group interaction, team members begin to communicate on a whole new level.

It’s a wonderful thing to see your group return to work putting to use what they’ve learned during DiSC™ Personality Training!
